As senior pastor of The People’s Church, Rick’s focus is on seeing lives changed by the good news of God’s love and forgiveness. Under his leadership for over 27 years, the church has grown from 300 members meeting in downtown Franklin – where the church had been located for 150 years – to a nearby 100-acre campus with nearly 5,000 members.

In addition to serving as the primary teaching pastor and senior leader at TPC, Rick is a frequent speaker at conferences and other churches. He and his wife, Patti, have a growing family, including daughter Carrie and son-in-law Matt, daughter Tori and son-in-law Derek, daughter Hope, and grandchildren, Sophie, Will and Lillie.
